This week I met with Thomas in the ePortfolio Studio to get some suggestions on how to improve my Wix page. Though I had already set up the page for the most part, it was great to have help with some of the fine tuning, as web design can be tedious and frustrating. On my own, I sometimes get caught up trying to get the kerning, spacing, and color scheme just right, but Thomas affirmed me on my design choices and helped me find ways to get things just right.

First, we adjusted the formatting of my Home page and Contact page. He suggested adding a picture of myself on the Contact page where I previously had a stock photo and helped me adjust the sizing and spacing to my liking. We also took out some unneeded buttons, links, and info. I previously had my email address on the contact page, though having a form eliminates the need for it. Finally, I added titles to each of the pages, which gave a small pop of color as well as adding some more clarity. I am glad I got to work with him; I feel satisfied with the results.
